Simple Ideas For Decorating Your Home In Ramadan

It is the time to prepare for the holy month of Ramadan, and one of the most important aspects of celebrating it is the decorations that distinguish it from the rest of the year.
Here are the best ideas for decorating your home rooms during Ramadan:

1- Living room:

Ramadan accessories are your best friend! Candles, picture frames, and wooden boxes with Islamic patterns like the iconic Khayameya or Arabic calligraphy.
The sofa needs changing, too! So, use those matching Ramadan pillows and throws to complement your Ramadan home decor.
Place Ramadan lanterns of various sizes in an empty corner or maybe near the TV.
Hang a string of lights in the form of small lanterns on the wall.

2- The Dining Room:

Place a tablecloth for an Islamic themed table with distinctive decorations.
Set up a side table for all your Ramadan drinks such as carob, qamaruddin, and dates with milk.
Choose trays with a Ramadan theme to serve mugs on.
If you have enough space, you can place your desserts on another side table opposite the drinks with a colorful luminous cover.

3- The Kitchen:

Hang wreaths and paper lanterns on the kitchen door.
Use the special Ramadan utensils to serve food.
Replace the furnishings in the kitchen with a Ramadan theme.

4- Entrance:

Hang an elegant Ramadan Mubarak banner or Ramadan Kareem banner on the front door of your home.
Go and find the largest Ramadan lantern you can find! Set it up by the front door with pillows and flower pots.
Buy a welcome rug with an Arabic theme that says “Hello” in Arabic or “Welcome,” and it will be a great idea to decorate the door of your house.

5- Prayer area:

Prepare a comfortable chair in the corner and place a lamp for reading the Qur’an next to it.
Buy a new colorful prayer rug and clothes.
Keep a small coffee or tea nook next to the prayer area when taking breaks between prayers with small plants or lanterns as décor.

Now, Enarat wishes you a blessed month full of joy and obedience.
Happy Ramadan
